Jake The Spaniel…

I had lots of fun photographing the very lively spaniel Jake….we got lots of action shots, followed by a quick dip in the river then suitably wet dog bounded off for his ball. The light was lovely with the sun coming through the autumnal coloured leaves…just gorgeous….

Equine Photography Training Day, Cheshire

I recently spent the day with Alex a lifestyle photographer from Hertfordshire. Alex wanted to offer equine photography to her clients so had booked a one-to one training day with me. Our first practical session was with Jess and her horse Mai, with Lisa and Paddy in the afternoon session. The weather was very kind to us..in fact a bit too sunny (we cant win!) Here are a few images from the day. If you are wanting to learn how to photograph horses I offer both training for amateur and professional photographers. Please contact me for further details.

Model Portfolio Shoot with Hazel…

I wanted to have a play with my Bowens lights, I’d recently acquired a rather interesting bright pink and gold chaise off one of my husbands customers….so before I reupholster and paint it (fuscia pink isnt my colour) I decided to do a fashion style shoot out on location with it. Katie Jay boutique in Sale kindly let me use some of her latest styles….and Clare from Harryjon expertly married up the colours on Hazel to compliment the chaise and clothing, I just love the look. We also used some wedding gowns from Dream Dress Bridal in Hyde. This was a great shoot Hazel was amazing to work with and never complained once about the cold….and it was cold….

Natalie’s Glam Photo Shoot

I photographed Natalie a couple of years back, she wanted some new images for her portfolio so asked me if we would do a sexy style shoot….I kindly borrowed a restaurant for the location and Clare from www.harryjon.com did Natalie’s hair and make up. Natalie had a mixture of clothing but I loved the French style hat and lingerie, she has such a beautiful face, so photogenic :) I used my Bowens lights for this shoot.

Elleanor, Loula & Noah, Equine Photo Shoot…

These images are from a recent photo shoot with Elleanor and her lovely ponies, Noah a very sweet Dartmoor, and Loula, a cheeky Welsh Section A. My useless sat nav (yeah ok maybe it was my fault!) took me down the wrong road but luckily I spotted a gorgeous woods with daffodils, a perfect location for our shoot, so thats where we started out. We did get asked not to squash the daffodils by the watchful neighbours…hmm not sure we managed that promise! We then went back to the yard and off I went to find some good locations to shoot, it wasnt difficult and Elleanor and the ponies were true stars…x

Afternoon Tea at Styal Lodge, Cheshire

I was asked to photograph an afternoon tea shoot with Emmy Lou at Lily Bud Cupcakes at Styal Lodge in Cheshire. I agreed only on the condition Emmy Lou brought some cupcakes for me :) There were quite a few people and businesses involved including; Mat from Red Floral Architecture, Charlotte Balbier and Amanda Wyatt dresses, Maria Santoro for bridesmaids hair, Clare at Harryjon for hair and make up, David at Acushla for you, Styal Lodge and Groom Hire.  There was 3 sets to shoot all with different themes, we started down at the lake with picnic blanket sandwiches and champers….a perfect location for wedding…. Then the love seat which was decorated beautifully by Mat and a table of gorgeousness which I tried my best not to ruin by eating everything..ok I admit a chocolate brownie (or two!) might have disappeared…..I then photographed the last set with the girls in their gorgeous matching dresses…it was a lovely day with some great suppliers and models….oh and fab cup cakes….

I recently photographed an Asian bridal shoot at Davenport Green Hall, Cheshire. Juliette & Hero, Equine Photo Shoot Cheshire

I ventured to a lovely yard in Cheshire to do a photo shoot with Juliette and her lovely horse Hero. Juliette had won some trophies for long distance riding and so I took a few images of them before they had to be handed back. Unfortunately Hero wont be able to compete any longer due to leg problems. Here are a few images from the shoot…

Sandra & Kirsty’s Equine Photo Shoot

Sandra booked a shoot for herself, her daughter Kirsty and the horses Sunny and Lulu. The weather was a bit mixed and it was an evening shoot so we had to dodge the rain and try to finish before it got too dark. We shot some images in the barn the in between showers managed to get some images outside. The sun was going down so I thought we would go to the stubble fields to try to make the most of the sunset. Sandra and Kirsty wore their Concours d’elegance outfits, handmade by Sandra herself….here are a few of their images x

Bridal Photo Shoot

I’ve just converted my single garage to enable me to do the occasional shoot and viewings from home. It’s not a huge space but if you are clever it’s a useable space, the only problem is my 14 year old son thinks its a great place to bring his friends, sit and chill, watch tv and make into a general mess. I wanted to try it out so I collaborated with Clare Ardern from HarryJon.com, Dream Dress Bridal and Mat from Red Floral Architecture. We used two gorgeous models, Cipriana & Jessica here are a few images….
